Jamaica avenue (1998)
by Chiori Miyagawa

directed by Sonoko Kawahara

A magical and poetic play about
three intertwining lives: a man,
a spirit whocomes back as a woman,
and a woman who becomes ghost.
They are connected by a web of
time, love, and regret. Carlos meets
Lauren; they fall in love and begin
their seven-year journey of drug addiction,
stealing, longing, finding and surviving until
they are able to truly say goodbye.

A beautiful piece … strong production"
